NBA wagering odds favor the Celtics but Boston was not a good home team this year versus the spread.  They were more effective on the road so the Magic may be able to get back into this series. Orlando has started poorly in both of the first two games of this series and although they have made some nice runs, the Celtics have held on to win. Rajon Rondo was signed to Boston in mid-2006. Rondo has made a strong showing and demonstrated to be a good asset to Boston in the years since. He became the first Celtic to top the league in steals during the 2009-2010 season. 

The Magic were predicted to win this series in NBA gambling but thus far it has been all Boston.  The Magic had won 14 games in a row entering this series but now they are on the ropes, lagging two games to none. Dwight Howard showed up in Game 2 as he had 30 points but Vince Carter missed two vital free throws late and Orlando lost again. 

History is not assisting the Magic in basketball betting. The Celtics have never lost a series after winning the first two games as they are 32-. Now they get to return home for Game 3 on Saturday. “Our fans won’t let us relax,” said Pierce. “We’re going to try and close it out in four games.” The Celtics are stating that they won’t relax now that they are going home. “Just think our mind-set was to be ready for the type of intensity they would bring after losing at home,” said Pierce. 

Orlando has been terrific on the road recently as they are 6- ATS in their last six road games. The Magic are 5-2 ATS in their past 7 playoff matches as an underdog.  The Magic are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Boston. During the regular season Boston struggled at home versus the point spread, however in the playoffs they’ve been more effective. The Celts are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 playoff games as a favorite. 

Checking the total we see that the Under is 5-1 in the Celts’ last six Conference Finals competitions. The Under is 4- in the previous 4 competitions in Boston between both teams.
